Congratulations on attending your first meeting. That is how the program works - what a relief when we realize that we are not alone with this illness and there are successful people in the program, who by following a simple 12 step program can get their lives back to normal.
Keep going to the meetings this illness will always be there, just do your recovery a day at a time.
Keep posting and maybe you will inspire someone else.
