The only thing I would suggest is to go to a meeting, I understand you don't drive but, unless you are willing to get on the bus or a train or even ask someone for a lift then I guess that rules that out.
If you are going to gamble as soon as you get a bit of money (like when you got paid) then maybe the first thing you can do is completely hand your finances over to someone close to you who you can trust. If you have no money you cannot bet!
