Day 8 and going for it - mike - 14-07-2010
Day 8 today without a bet which is a long way on from what i was contemplating a couple of weeks ago. Having been the Doctors, signed off work to remove stress, i feel i can now focus on recovering from 11 years of pain and suffering - its a long road but i will make it thanks to reading stories on here and having just rang up to request some one on one counselling - thanks to everyone and good luck

Well done Mike, This is a life long road for us CG's and there never is a cure for compulsive gambling but it can be arrested, we have to work hard and be able to deal with what life gives us without gambling.
Keep posting and give us an update on you recovery.
