I found a way to stop gambling - Guest - 13-08-2010
Whenever the thought comes into my head about gambling I just block it out and think of something else. It's only been two weeks, but I hope this can work forever.
In my case the gambling is at a casino so I have to make a conscious effort to block out any thoughts related to going. You just don't end up at a casino, you have to think about going and decide to go first.
If you can block out those thoughts you are ahead of the game.
It's the only way to win.
