Hi Jessica,
can I give you one piece of advice?
Try not to set yourself goals that are too difficult to swallow. One GA principle is "Take one day at a time". ie "today I will not gamble", and the weeks months and even years will look after themselves.
We can do something for one day that might apall us if we think about doing it for too long. Striving for the big goal may put a lot of unnecessary pressure on us, where a small thing is easier to achieve.
I believe you can achieve 6 months, 7 months 8 months 8 years, but do it slowly.
