Well done Smartie,
You deserve recovery from this insidious disease. I too felt hopeless and thought that I would die, ending up in the gutter alone. I just could not stop and then eventually was taken to a GA meeting and knew that this was my last chance, so kept going back to the meetings and the 12 steps and the people there finally got to me.
I live a life today in peace and serenity. What I give out I get back ten fold. How could I swap the life I have now??
I am so grateful for people like you who are always there to help others.
