Get yourself along to a GA meeting if you can.
While you may not be classified as a compulsive gambler, I feel that if you are able to see how this addcition can affect you, it may help you stop. You would be welcome to go along. The stories you will hear are real. AND you will be hearing those stories from the people that are affected by this gambling addiction.
Ask questions. Be honest & open minded. Don't judge!...Remember,you too could easily head down that path! <!-- s:o --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_surprised.gif" alt=":o" title="Surprised" /><!-- s:o -->
Me personally...6 credit cards maxxed out, house triple mortgaged, AND I stole from my sister.
I am 52 years of age & own NOTHING! AND owe PLENTY! I will never be able to pay back what I owe.
You have the chance to stop now before it really gets hold of you.
Find a hobby. Do some volunteer work. Read a book. ANYTHING BUT GAMBLING!
