Hi, I am a gambler. I have pulled all the stunts that you talk about on this wall. But 16 years ago I got it under control with help from my wife. I have never been to a meeting as I was not addicted just a heavy gambler, who was I trying to kid? Anyway my wife died four years ago, my children flew the nest, and I now live on my own. Last week I played online freeroll poker "just for fun", I didn't even think. Guess what I won, Oh dear I then started to play Poker for money I lost and two days ago bought pounds worth of Poker chips. I need to stop this and I need help I can't do this on my own. My question is this I know what this addiction can do I don't want to go back to that, but it is only a few dollars so far, will I be laughed at, at meetings ? How much do I have to loose before I will be accepted as a gambler at a meeting?
