hi i really feel for you i look back and think "this is how my wife felt" alttough she didnt know at the time but it must be hell for her now.
You need to sit down with him tell him your feelings tell him that you want to help him but first he has to help himself.
You need to let him know he has a family that will offer support but if he doesnt stop he will lose them. Maybe even shock him and move to freinds or parents house for a couple of nights and tell him this WILL happen if he ruins the family.
