I am a compulsive gambler Tyger
#1
So i have a gambling problem from ever since i could remember.
This has been the longest i havent gambled...
Since Dec 2016
I also havent been to a meeting since before Dec 2016 as i have been busy with work.
I still have the odd days when im thinking just pop into the bookies and play black jack on the machines play for fun play small bets.
Bad idea...
Good thing i havent acted on my thoughts.
Its the first bet that i must avoid.
Once i place that first bet thats it im hooked again Sad

Ever since my GF found out that i was a bad gambler she now holds my bank card where my wages are paid in and i dont mind that coz i know i am bad with money Undecided
I have another bank ac which is emty, which is only used for my GF to wire me my spending money Smile

When i did gambled i only really gambled on black jack mostly at the bookies sometimes at the casino .

I must avoid that first bet at all cost...

I am Tyger79 and im a compulsive gambler...

Today i will not gamble.

Hi Tyger79,

Well done staying off a bet since Dec, with regards to not going to meetings, I can only say one thing from my own experience and through the experience I have heard from others, is that "those that don't do to meetings don't hear about what happens to those that don't go to meetings". I didn't goto meetings for years and I was OK for a couple of them, but I eventually slipped back into my old ways. This time round, I keep going to meetings, even if I don't feel like it, or feel that I am too busy. I prioritise 2 hours a week to prevent probably 40 hours a week gambling.

All the best

One day at a time.  My last bet was 15/03/2016 and I hope and pray each day that it stays that way.
