Meetings help, but meetings are only a small part to how GA works....

GA is a 12 step organisation that offers the program that keeps me in recovery...

Hi

Abstinence is about us giving up our unhealthy habits.

Recovery was about me healing from the pains of my past.

Only when I abstain from unhealthy habits can my healing process begin.

The very simple truth is no one could stop me from being unhealthy.

I wanted to blame the world and its people for my emotional vulnerability and my addictions and obsessions.

The simple truth is how much time and effort am I willing to invest in myself.

I am taking the healthy path each day, when ùi fell vulnerable I need to understand what my emotional triggers are,

I am very much a spiritual person, yet I am not  religious person.

No one could help me until I was wiling to help myself.

Love and peace to every one.
