Just saying hello
Hi All,
My name is Shaun and I am a compulsive gambler. I have been attending GA for 8 years on January the 13th and am also the webmaster and web designer for this site. I attend meetings regularly in Sheffield on Sundays and have on occasion attended Rotherham and Doncaster meetings. I struggled for 20 years before attending GA and it had got as bad as slitting my wrists on the day of my first meeting. I attended my first meeting on January 13th 2002 andhave not looked back since. My life is now in order, I have my loving family back, have a great job, great house etc...
I owe all this to the fellowship that is GA and could not have achieved anything without the people that attend meetings. I have made many friends through attending GA and have a life that I am very happy with. I have found that doing the website has been a fantastic step in my recovery as I feel that my contribution of putting into my recovery helps me get things out of my recovery.

I hope that you enjoy your time on the website and that it also helps you to a gamble free life as it has done for me.

As GA is a volunteer service run my it's members I would appreciate it if you would continue to contribute to this section and also to log into the chat room to help others and also gain support from other compulsive gamblers.

I would like to finish by saying thanks GA for all that you have made me become and a special thanks to Craig Admin for all his ongoing contributions to this website

Yours In Unity

Shaun (fisherman - Sheffield)
