Hi my name is Shelly.I am new to this site and facing my gambling addictions. One day at a time is all I can do at this point. I have lost my job, friends and possibly my family to gambeling so I am struggling with some way to make a positive impact with my change. I will attend my first GA meeting tomorrow. I hope Geoff that today is a positive day for you and both of us will not gamble.

Thanks for your kind response and the kindness is in the fact you to are struggling with this addiction.Today feel little better thought you summed it up well what this addiction can take fammilly/job/confident/dignity etc but unlike money these can be got back through hard work shelly. so hang on in there and give ga a try without gambling we can enjoy life again finally my mantre is i have to stop digging at some stage.Hope to hear that life is on the up for you soon gp <!-- sSmile --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt="Smile" title="Smile" /><!-- sSmile -->
