I have been to the doctors about depression today and my gambling came up and i have been advised to attend GA meetings, but i have read some of the stories on here and feel my problem isnt as signifcant or big as some of these. I am spending money i cant afford to spend but i am worried my case isnt serious enough to attend because the amount im spending isnt huge.
Any advice?

Hi Dan-E1989

If you are using money you can't afford to lose, then you do have a problem.
We are all on different income levels, so 10 Quid to you might seem a small amount, but to another person in a different income bracket, it could mean the difference between eating or not eating for the next month.

You are much better off nipping this gambling habit in the bud early on.
Why wait until your thousands in debt before getting help? <!-- s:oops: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_redface.gif" alt=":oops:" title="Embarrassed" /><!-- s:oops: -->

GA does not discriminate on any matter. Be it race, income, religion etc.
You will get a lot of benefit by attending GA.
Talk to people who have been gambling for all their lives....and then ask yourself ... do I want this?

Best wishes
Roy
