It is great that you have re-found GA. There is a saying in GA 'Meetings make it', now, I am not sure that by attending meetings is going to secure your last bet date and allow you to never gamble again, but I do know that by attending meetings any person with a desire to stop gambling has a much better chance.
Keep attending meetings mate. Keep phoning other members, not just when you feel the urge, but often. Keep working the program. And, when the day comes that you feel that you no longer need to do any of these things as often, do MORE meetings, phone MORE members and work the program MORE!
I wish you all the best in your recovery.
It might be a good idea to send your story to the New Life, I would make a nice addition.
