GA meetings
#4
Hi bigfens

Your addiction is not judged on how big/small your problem is, or how much you gamble.
It is simply this...if you can't afford to lose what you are gambling, or gambling is causing other problems in your life...then you have a problem. That's the basic idea.

Whether you think your problem is minor, aren't you better dealing with it now, rather than fixing up the mess afterwards? I know if I had my time over, I would have turned to GA 10 years ago, noy one year ago when I did. A lot of damage was done in those nine years <!-- s:oops: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_redface.gif" alt="" title="Embarrassed" /><!-- s:oops: -->

The other benefit of going to a meeting might be to instill in you "what can happen" to you should you keep on gambling. It could be the catalyst for you to really stop this silly nonsense of chasing the "big win"

Best wishes with the choice you make
Roy
