Hi ashamed

You wont stop gambling unless you want to. Like an alcoholic or a smoker, it is an addiction.
A lot of CG's have to hit 'rock bottom' before they stop. I was one of those. Some of the lucky ones wake up early enough and get the help they need before any major damage is done.
The financial damage is bad enough, however often the damage to relationships is irretrievable. <!-- sSad --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_sad.gif" alt="Sad" title="Sad" /><!-- sSad -->

GA has helped me enormously. I would sincerely recommend that you attend GA meetings.

The major problem to stopping gambling is yourself. As I stated previously, you have to want to stop. Even then it is not an easy addiction to beat. That is why I recommend GA. Being fellow gamblers, we already know how you feel, we have probably done what you have done (if not worse), and we can help you.

Best wishes
Roy
