Understanding Step one and step two.
#19
Hi.
I was not able to articulate understand or express my feelings in a healthy way on walking in to the spiritual recovery program.
Once you give therapies at meetings it comes from an honest place.
That emotional honesty becomes our strength.
The addictions and obsessions were just an unhealthy way of escaping in my fears from people life or situations.
If we have hatred for a person do we understand it is bitter pain that is coming out of us.
Often we do not understand that perpetrators do on to people those things that were done to them.
How many parents were dysfunctional unhealthy and ignorant and unable to fulfill our emotional wants and needs.
Once I say to people I love them it empowers me.
Once I say to people I love them the pains and fears of those people melt away.
Resentments and hatred mean I am living in the past.
Healing from our past is an ongoing path, healing from our past opens me up to lots of healthy emotional intimacy today.
There is no limit to what I can achieve in my life today.
The healthier I become the less adverse effects unhealthy people have on me today.
I am for sure on a healthy path in my recovery today.
There is faith pride in my life today.
No matter when people had their last bet I am an equal to you all.
Love Dave
