Setting up new meeting
hello, i have been going to GA for about 16 weeks, but the distance i have to travel to the nearest meeting is a bit of a nightmare.
I feel im ready to start a meeting, i think my town would be classed as southern area so if i could have their contact details that would be good.

Also if u need admin help online i would love to help out

You will need to speak to the secretary at the meeting you are attending currently. There is a lot of work involved in setting up a new meeting, so ideally you will need at least 3-4 experienced members (1+ year since last bet) to help you and to commit to attending every week for a year.

You will need to put a proposal to the regional meeting for your region who will then decide upon whether or not it can go ahead. It is important that you attend that meeting as it gives the regional committee chance to ask you questions and also it will be something that at least one member of your meeting will need to attend every quarter. The secretary at your current meeting will be able to advise you on all the required steps to be taken and also the contact details for your regional secretary as well as the time, date and location of the next regional meeting.
